Millicent King Channell, DO, MA, FAAO

Dr. Millicent King Channell is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). After completing her residencies in both Family Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine/Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (NMM/ OMM), she joined the faculty of Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (formerly UMDNJ-SOM) in the Departments of OMM and Family Medicine. Dr. Channell has presented on OMM topics both nationally and internationally.  She has made numerous scholarly contributions to osteopathic medicine; most notably she co-authored the book The 5 - Minute Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Consult (Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, 2008). She is a graduate of the Hedwig van Ameringen Executive Leadership in Academic MedicineĀ® (ELAM) Program at Drexel University College of Medicine and the Costin Institute at Midwestern University. Dr Channell is actively involved in the American Academy of Osteopathy (AAO), currently serving on its Board of Governors.  Additionally, she is a member of Board of Directors for The National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME) and she serves as a member of the ACGME's Osteopathic Principles Committee (OPC). Dr. Channell is a Professor of OMM and the  Assistant Dean for Curriculum at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (RowanSOM)."
