Ronald J. Librizzi, DO, FACOOG (Dist)

Ronald J. Librizzi, D.O., FACOOG, an internationally recognize maternal fetal medicine specialist, is the chief of maternal and fetal medicine at
Virtua. Dr. Librizzi is a clinical associate of obstetrics and gynecology at the Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He is also a clinical assistant professor at the Rowen University School of Osteopathic Medicine of New Jersey. He also has an adjunct appointment at the University of Pennsylvania school of nursing and continues to train advance practice nurses in the women's health division.

Dr. Librizzi  has chaired the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is past president of the Southern New Jersey perinatal cooperative, the New Jersey Obstetrical and Gynecological Society as well as the New Jersey Maternal and Fetal Medicine society. He is chairman of the governor's Mandated Health Benefits Advisory Commission.

Dr. Librizzi's  research interests continued to include reproductive losses, premature labor and noninvasive prenatal diagnostic screening among a host of other women's health reproductive initiatives through the Perinatal
Research Consortium.

Dr. Librizzi has continuously been recognized as a "Top Doc" both in Philadelphia and New Jersey and was elected to the "50 most Positive Physicians in America" by Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.
