Todd A. Moyerbrailean, DO
Dr. Moyerbrailean was born in Pontiac, Michigan and spent most of his childhood in Rochester, Michigan. He graduated from Michigan State University in 1981 with a degree in Microbiology and Immunology. He then went on to medical school at Des Moines University, College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 1986. He met his wife Coleen just prior to medical school and they married in the fall of 1985. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1991 at St Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. Dr. Moyerbrailean joined the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University in 1991, and then ventured into private practice in 1994. In 1997, the practice evolved into Alliance Obstetrics and Gynecology which today continues to be privately owned and operated and consists of 11 Obstetrician/Gynecologists and 10 advanced nurse practitioners.
Dr. Moyerbrailean continues to be active as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Statewide Campus System at the College of Osteopathic Medicine/Michigan State University and currently serves as the Obstetrics and Gynecology Division Director. He holds Clinical Assistant professorship positions with both the College of Osteopathic Medicine and College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University. He has been an active member of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners Level III Item Review and Final Review Committees since 1997.
Dr. Moyerbrailean is a board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. His areas of special interest include graduate medical education, urinary incontinence and pelvic reconstructive surgery, gynecologic and pelvic floor ultrasound.
In his spare time Dr. Moyerbrailean likes spending time with his family, woodworking, old-house renovation, restoring vintage automobiles, playing the Great Highland Bagpipes, watching MSU Spartan Sports, running, biking and skiing.
