ACOOG NATIONAL STUDENT SOCIETY (NSS) POSTER AWARDS
Medical students attending the NSS meeting held in conjunction with the ACOOG Fall Conference are encouraged to submit posters. Submissions must be received by September 15, 2020. Students will be eligible for an Excellence in Poster Presentation award and Excellence in Research on Healthcare Disparities Among Minorities award. Download Digital Poster Guidelines. ACOOG FALL SCHOLAR
All residents in attendance at the ACOOG Fall Conference are encouraged to write a 3 to 5 page report summarizing one of the didactic lectures. This report will be edited by their program director who should also attend the lecture. The top four submissions will receive an award of $250 and will be published in the ACOOG News.
ACOOG POSTGRADUATE THESIS AWARD
The purpose of this program is to promote postgraduate research in obstetrics and gynecology and acquaint the resident or fellow with the ACOOG and Annual Convention. This program is available to all osteopathic physicians in an AOA accredited program, ACGME program, or any resident or fellow of an osteopathic recognized ACGME postgraduate training program. MEFACOOG EXCELLENCE IN POSTER PRESENTATION
Poster abstracts must be submitted for review by the ACOOG Research and Awards Committee by November 1st of each year. Residents, Fellows, and Medical Students are eligible for monetary award and publication. However, poster abstracts are accepted from any ACOOG member for the open category. Depending upon the topic, open category posters may include publication opportunities or meet the presentation of research requirement for postgraduate training. MEFACOOG RESEARCH GRANTS
Two research grants are available each year. Submissions from residents and sub-specialty fellows are accepted until November 1st. Download the Research Grant Application.
MEFACOOG RESIDENT REPORTER SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Recipients of the Resident Reporter Scholarship will be awarded conference tuition, travel expenses, and are required to write a summary article on site. The top three summary articles chosen by the program editor will be expanded by the resident for publication. Contact your Program Director regarding Resident Reporter appointment.
