acoog 94th annual conference
2027 Abstract & Poster Submission Guidelines
Present your research or clinical case at the 94th Annual Conference, March 30 to April 5, 2027.
The Research and Awards Committee reviews every abstract. Accepted authors receive an upload link in February 2027 and present on-site during the poster session.
01 About the Poster Session
Scholarly work, presented one on one with colleagues.
Poster presentations let authors trade ideas directly with peers and suit unusual or multiple clinical case presentations. Any topic in obstetrics, gynecology, gynecologic surgery, or a related area fits an American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOOG) poster session.
Session Date and Time
Friday, April 2, 2027, 8:30 to 11:00 AM. Set-up takes place Thursday.
02 Award & Open Categories
The judging committee assigns your category. Here is how each one works.
Award Category
Eligible for a monetary award
Original research led by a resident from a program with Osteopathic Recognition, or by any DO student, resident, or fellow from any residency program.
Open Category
Open to all other projects
A case study, an "other" project type, or original research from a program without Osteopathic Recognition or submitted by a non-DO student, resident, or fellow.
Success Tip
The top reason submissions get rejected
Include the data tied to your study or case in your abstract. In past cycles, the most common rejection reason was a submission with no data behind its results.
Special Consideration
Posters built around osteopathic principles and practice (OPP), osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM), or health equity receive special consideration from the committee.
