Resident and Fellow Research Paper Award

ACOOG promotes postgraduate research in obstetrics and gynecology and introduces residents and fellows to the College and the Annual Convention.

About the program

The program promotes postgraduate research in obstetrics and gynecology and introduces residents and fellows to the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOOG) and the Annual Convention.

The program is open to osteopathic physicians in an American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited program, an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) program, or any resident or fellow in an osteopathic recognized ACGME postgraduate training program. Recipients contribute to the knowledge of osteopathic physicians who treat female patients.

The award

The program selects one recipient. The author of the chosen paper receives:

A $2,500 grant
A plaque
Round-trip coach airfare at the best rate
One night of hotel accommodation, if required
A waiver of the registration fee at the Annual Convention
