The Outstanding Resident of the Year program is a collaboration between MEFACOOG and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP). The award recognizes an osteopathic OB/GYN resident who performs at an exceptional level and exceeds what their program expects.

ACOFP presents the initial recognition. MEFACOOG then honors the recipient in person at the ACOOG Annual Conference, in front of their peers and colleagues.
