The ACOOG Mentor of the Year is selected from OBGYN nominees for the AOA Mentor Hall of Fame. Each year, the AOA sends a list of nominees to their respective specialty colleges for endorsement. These individuals are nominated by residents, medical students, or colleagues they have mentored. The ACOOG Membership and Promotions Committee reviews the nominations and selects a College-endorsed nominee. The Board of Trustees confirms the selection, and the honoree is recognized as ACOOG Mentor of the Year at the annual conference.
