Extensions cannot be granted. Poster presentations are considered scholarly work and provide the opportunity to exchange information in-depth on a one-to-one basis.
Categories
Categories are determined by the judging committee.
Award Category
Eligible for monetary award. The project must be original research conducted by any resident from a program that has Osteopathic Recognition, or any DO student, resident or fellow from any residency program.
Open Category
The project is a case study or "other" type of project, or original research from a program without Osteopathic Recognition.
💡 Success Tip
Be sure to include data related to your study or case. In past submissions, the most common reason for rejection was failure to include data related to results.
Special Considerations
Special consideration is given to posters incorporating osteopathic principles and practice (OPP), osteopathic manipulative medicine, and/or health equity.
General Guidelines
Your abstract and poster must be uploaded by the deadline above. Extensions will not be granted, and no changes can be made after upload.
You must be present in-person during the poster judging.
You must stay in the conference hotel.
You must register for the conference.
Poster Design Guidelines
You are responsible for printing your poster.
You are not required to use a specific template.
Poster Size: 72" x 42" maximum.
You must have written permission to use photos/videos in your poster if they are not your own.
All posters must be uploaded online (link provided upon acceptance). You will only be able to upload a PowerPoint or PDF file (one slide) up to 30 MB in size.

ACOOG Membership
