Barbara Hawkes Memorial Presentation

Barbara Hawkes served as our Executive Secretary for many years and helped guide our College to where we are today. She worked along with many of us and was the guiding light that in her own way let us enjoy the fruits of our labor. She was there to select the city, hotel, fight to get the best deal for our money and then make sure the meetings started on time, make sure all meals were served when they were supposed to be, and be in three places at once. She was an asset to us all and when she passed away in 1997, she left behind a legacy. For this reason we the college have honored her by selecting a member or a friend of our college to present a lecture in her behalf.
