Dr. Kurt Ludwig earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University/Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998 and completed his OB/GYN residency at Mount Clemens General Hospital in 2003, where he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Ludwig has served as the OB/GYN Residency Program Director at Henry Ford Macomb Hospitals since 2007 and is a Senior Staff Physician with Henry Ford Medical Group. He also holds an appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

In addition to his clinical and educational roles, Dr. Ludwig previously served as Chairman of the OB/GYN Service Line at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital and has been actively involved in numerous national committees, including the ACOOG Postgraduate Education and Standards Committee, the AOBOG Osteopathic Continuous Certification Exam Committee, the ACGME OB/GYN Milestones Work Group, and the ACGME Review Committee for OB/GYN. He currently serves as a Trustee on the ACOOG Board of Trustees, further demonstrating his dedication to advancing osteopathic obstetrics and gynecology on a national level.

Dr. Ludwig is a dedicated educator and frequent lecturer on Osteopathic Graduate Medical Education at national conferences. He resides in Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan with Dr. Linda Karadsheh and their children. He enjoys traveling, golf, and spending time with family and friends.
