Mentorship, Research & Residency Resources
ACOOG-NSS Mentorship and Peer Support Network
Revamp of the ACOOG-NSS Big-Little Program.
Goal: Connect with your NSS community and build a support system you can lean on throughout medical school.
Two layers of support: peer-to-peer encouragement and mentor-mentee relationship from students one or two steps ahead.
Mentorship ladder matching: small groups include 2 people from each year allowing for both peer-to-peer and mentor-mentee relationships.
A space for real talk + practical tips: study strategies, boards, rotations, specialty exploration, research/leadership, wellness.
Flexible, student-friendly and structured but personalized — virtual check-ins, your preferred group chat, and a cadence your group chooses.
