Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, a regional tertiary care center and ACS-verified Level II trauma center, is actively seeking an additional board-certified/board-eligible full-time OB/GYN to join our well-established, hospital-employed practice in Bangor, Maine. New graduates and those seeking visa sponsorship are encouraged to apply. Part-time and per diem opportunities also available.

The Role

Work alongside 8 physicians, 2 certified nurse midwives, 3 nurse practitioners, and skilled support staff.

Provide routine and high-risk obstetric and gynecologic services to a patient population of approximately 500,000. We are the referral center for two-thirds of Maine.

Strongly supported robotic surgery program with four DaVinci Xi robots.

Our group performs approximately 1,100 of the 1,600 deliveries per year in Bangor.

24-hour access to Maternal Fetal Medicine consultation via phone with on-site MFM ultrasound department and 9 full-time sonographers.

On-site Anesthesia and Level III NICU.

Our team provides consultation services for the Northern Light Family Medicine residency program, and we have rotating medical students.
